Montréal Brique et Pierre, formerly Montréal Art Stone, was founded in 1965 by two visionary French Canadian businessmen who strongly believed in their project and its future.

The business began slowly, but efforts eventually paid off and in 1988, the company built it's actuel head office: a 20,000-square foot facility, including a vast two-story showroom.

Until 1989, Montréal Brique et Pierre focused exclusively on the distribution of masonry products. To better diversify its product offering, the company then decided to start specializing in sales and installation of stoves and pre-fabricated fireplaces.

To increase its market share, 1992 saw Montréal Brique et Pierre acquiring a similar company in the Saint-Hubert sector of Longueuil. Then, in 1995, it purchased a Saint-Eustache based company specialized in landscaping product sales.

Over the years, Montréal Brique et Pierre has become the most important distributor of masonry products in Canada. As a leader in the industry, it's reputation is impeccable in both the sales and installation of stoves and pre-fabricated fireplaces, as well as in the sale of landscaping products.
