History
Montréal Brique et Pierre, formerly Montréal Art Stone, was acquired in 1965 by two Franco-Canadians with a fond vision of the future and determination to succeed.
The company was very modest in the beginning. However in 1988, years of hard work paid off when the company built its 20,000 square feet head office currently housing a vast 2 floor showroom.
Until 1989, the company specialised exclusively in the distribution of masonry products. Ultimately, they diversified their market and began selling and installing stoves and prefabricated fireplaces.
With aim to increase market share in 1992, Montréal Brique et Pierre acquired a similar company in the St-Hubert sector of Longueil. Pursuing the same goal in 1995, Montréal Brique et Pierre purchased a Saint-Eustache company specialising in the sale of landscaping products.
Over the years, Montréal Brique et Pierre has become the most important distributor of masonry products in Canada. Montréal Brique et Pierre also recognizes an excellent reputation for the sale and installation of stoves and prefabricated fireplaces, while holding the undisputed place as the leader in sales for landscaping products.
Today, Montréal Brique et Pierre is represented in the entire greater Montreal region by a road team of 14 sales representatives whom enjoy an enviable reputation in the field.
